Sandra feels like an old friend instantly, I think that means she's really good at what she does, but either way, she is good people.
With over 10 years of experience she has had the pleasure of being able to work with people of all ages, genders, cultures, and walks of life both inpatient and outpatient.
She hit the ground running when she started here with us, and our patients are all the better for it. We saw an opportunity bringing her on to really manifest this total wellness direction we are striving for. Sandra makes sure our patients are prioritizing their mental health as much as their physical health. Our trans patients in particular have found a home here with Sandra that allows them to express the gains and losses they are feeling on their journey to becoming the best version of themselves and an overall free space to just express what they need, or how they are handling things.
We asked Sandra how she decompresses and takes care of herself outside of helping our patients “I am passionate about my work, I am lucky that I love what I do but I am equally as enthusiastic about my free time. I enjoy leading an active lifestyle that includes my loved ones, my pup, old and new friends. I feel that nature, fun, and exploration fuel the soul! Whether I am exploring another country, a nearby town, or trying a new recipe at home, I appreciate the lessons the world has for me.”
We aren’t sure we can remember how things were before we found Sandra, but one thing is for sure- there is no turning back now!
